Today, February 11, 1981, Kelendria Trene Rowland was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Kelly released a new single in April 2020 called ‘Coffee,’ and it’s gained more than eight million streams on Spotify.

The song was produced by Marcos “Kosine” Palacios of production duo Da Internz, and it is not included on any of Kelly’s albums. It peaked at no. 14 on the American iTunes Chart, four positions higher than it’s no. 18 debut.
For now, we must enjoy the sexy up-tempo pop bop for what it is. To help, Kelly released a nice music video to ‘Coffee,’ where she embodies similar African themes to Beyoncé’s “Black is King” Disney film.
