The Game: “1992”

Today, October 14, 2016, The Game released his eighth studio album, “1992.” This album peaked at no. 1 on the US Billboard Independent Albums Chart, and no. 4 on the Billboard 200 and iTunes Albums Chart. The Game is one heck of an indie artist, showing the new wave of rappers a thing or two about maintaining starpower in an ever-changing music industry.

“1992” is The Game’s third album released in partnership with Entertainment One Music (eOne) – labelmate to Brandy, Lalah Hathaway, K. Michelle, Blueface, Kaytranada, and many more. He also has two compilation albums with eOne.

This album, “1992,” has few credited features. ‘All Eyez’ features Jeremih, and it reached no. 79 on the Hot 100. This song is a Scott Storch production, much like Kelly Rowland’s ‘Comeback,’ Keyshia Cole’s ‘Give Me More,’ and The Game’s ‘Go Ahead’ featuring Ludacris.
