Homage Collage: Weezer, “Make Believe”

🔊💜Today, May 10, 2005, Weezer released their “Make Believe” fifth studio album. Rick Rubin produced the album for Weezer, and it peaked at no. 2 on the US Billboard 200. Lead single ‘Beverly Hills’ also had commercial success, peaking at no. 10 on the Hot 100, and no. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs Chart. Also on the latter chart, three other singles peaked: ‘This Is Such A Pity’ (no. 31), ‘We Are All on Drugs’ (no. 10), and ‘Perfect Situation’ (no. 1).
